About Me

I'm a Chronic Pain Recovery Therapist, Trainer, and Coach.

And I'm just like you: for years I struggled with chronic pain and as the pain kept getting bigger, my life kept getting smaller.

Since going through Pain Reprocessing Therapy and getting my life back from chronic pain - I've made it my mission to help others get their lives back too. So I obtained training and certification from the Pain Reprocessing Therapy Center.

MARINA LONDON BIO

I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. This means I have a master's degree in social work and extensive supervised experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy, and assessment-based treatment planning. I also passed the clinical examination administered by the Association of Social Work Boards.

 

I began my career as an emergency room clinician at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and then as a psychiatric social work supervisor working on an inpatient psychiatric unit. Eventually, I was put in charge of child and adolescent triage at the outpatient child psychiatry clinic.

I then transitioned into a career in corporate mental health, serving as a director of clinical services for the largest corporate mental health program in the USA. I eventually became a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and later served as a director of account management and VP of operations for several employee assistance programs. More recently I worked as Web Editor and Director of Communications for the Employee Assistance Professionals Association.

 

I have extensive experience presenting trainings, webinars, and keynotes on a range of clinical topics via webinars and at national and international conferences. View a list of topics.

 

I have also written journal articles, co-authored books, and wrote an award-winning blog. View a list of publications.

Currently, I am focusing on delivering PRT training to EAPs, behavioral healthcare professionals, and wellness practitioners. I also maintain a private practice providing PRT.

I have a BA, cum laude, in psychology from Yale University and a Master of Science (Social Work) from Columbia University. She is bilingual in English and French.
